Planning Commission Joins Northampton Township at Town-Hall Meeting to Solicit Public Opinion on the Future of the Village of Richboro

January 30, 2015

A new planning initiative will revitalize the Village of Richboro in Northampton Township, Bucks County.

The Village of Richboro has had a rich history and fundamental role in the development of Northampton Township. As the Township transformed from a rural farming economy to a modern suburb, Richboro has faced many challenges. Traffic congestion, land use concerns, and environmental constraints have led to the need to reevaluate the village in a comprehensive fashion.

Bucks County planners will be assisting the Northampton Township Planning Commission in developing a Master Plan for the future of Richboro. This plan will tie together key recommendations of previous initiatives and explore actions to be taken to strengthen the economic structure and physical appearance of Richboro.

Northampton Township along with staff from the Bucks County Planning Commission will host a meeting
