Highlights 

All Bucks County Government Buildings, as well as the County Park System are closed to the public; however essential services are still being handled by limited staff. The Bucks County Justice Center is open by appointment from 9 am to 2 pm Monday - Friday. All county parks, park trails and nature center trails are currently closed under the Governor's Stay at Home mandate. In addition, the Parks and Recreation Board meeting scheduled for April 8th has been cancelled.


All courts in the Seventh Judicial District (Common Pleas Court and Magisterial District Courts) are, EXCEPT for the directives and exceptions listed in the Executive Order from the President Judge, CLOSED to the public beginning at close of business on March 19, 2020. Per the amendment to the Executive Order, there will be no civil or criminal jury trials prior to June 15th; no jurors should report prior to June 15, 2020. The hours of operation for the Common Pleas Court will be 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, effective Monday March 23, 2020 for the duration of this Order. 

As of April 2, 2020, per Executive Order 2020-09, all Magisterial District Courts will be systematically closed except for an attached schedule listing a total of four district courts which will be operational during business hours each day with one court covering Upper Bucks County; one court covering Central Bucks County; and two courts covering Lower Bucks County. This Order/schedule does not affect all the restrictions already in place pertaining to the district courts.

It is strongly recommended that you call ahead. Otherwise, visitors who arrive without having called ahead will wait in a queue and be seen in order, based on their time of arrival. Visitors in the queue will be asked to maintain a distance of six feet from other persons at all times.
